A Director of Information Systems (CIO) must lead the IT department as a provider of value to the business.
The CIO is responsible for developing network growth and maintenance plans, creating annual and project budgets, managing IT employees, and keeping the executive team updated on the latest network technologies that could help the company to succeed.
The course in IT Manager: ICT Governance, will provide you with a perspective on the basic aspects that the CIO must know. As the central axis of the new role that the IT area should have and as a provider of value to the business, the CIO must ensure good governance in the department.
The aim is to prepare you to be able to carry out the task of director of information systems, managing the tools and coordinating processes for the accomplishment of the daily tasks and future evolution of the IT department.
