Sustainability is no longer optional: it has become an essential pillar of business competitiveness. The challenge is not only to understand its fundamentals, but to integrate them into the culture, processes and decisions that mark the future of a company.
With the Programme in Sustainability Management in Business you will go through a complete training itinerary, designed to advance you from essential knowledge to the actual implementation of sustainable strategies. Upon completion, you will obtain the university degree that will accredit you to lead the sustainable transformation in your organization.
The first part, Business Sustainability: Essential Principles, will provide you with the conceptual and operational foundation. You will explore key topics such as circular economy, decarbonisation and regeneration; you will learn about the regulatory framework and the main certifications; you will learn how to measure, evaluate and communicate sustainable impact; and you'll design your own roadmap to a customized sustainability plan.
The second part, Implementation of the Sustainability Strategy in the Company, will take you to the strategic and applied level. Here you will learn how to calculate your carbon footprint, design decarbonisation plans and apply circularity, regeneration and biodiversity strategies. You will also work on sustainable leadership, good corporate governance and the construction of an impact-oriented organizational culture.
In addition, you will develop a strategic sustainability plan that incorporates dual materiality, key indicators, reporting in accordance with CSRD regulations and the use of technologies such as Artificial Intelligence.
You can take each part independently or take the entire itinerary. At the end of both modules, you will obtain the University Expert in Business Sustainability Management (15 ECTS) from Ramon Llull University, which certifies the ability to integrate sustainability into business strategy and lead with environmental, social and economic impact.
