Description
The course delves into the theory and practice of the art market and the creative industry, including the functioning of galleries, museums, art fairs and other cultural institutions. Students will learn about the processes of production, distribution and marketing of artworks and creative products, as well as the challenges and opportunities faced by artists and creators in the market in the current digital context. In addition, legal aspects related to intellectual property, such as copyright, patents, trademarks and other copyrights, as well as artificial intelligence and its implications for intellectual property, will be addressed. Students will learn how to protect their creative works and products, how to avoid plagiarism and piracy, and how to enforce their rights in case of infringement.
