At the end of the course, students will have the basic notions of how to express ideas graphically and how to project through images and typography.
Learning Outcomes of this subject are:

The course will be split in two blocks:
1. Theoretical-Instrumental Block: learning the basic knowledge to work with the conceptual and practical tools of graphic design
2. Project Block: learn to manage, direct and present a graphic design project through different methods and strategies

D1. Theory Classes
The teacher makes a theoretical exposition of the basic concepts that the students must acquire in order to develop the projects of the subject.

Throughout the course, activities, exercises and readings will be proposed that will be shared in class.
D3. Laboratory Practices
Individual exercises of design will be proposed, aix with a dossier project in which all projects will be incorporated in the course of the course. Tot això is durà a terme partially a class.

SA1. Exams
The subject has two theoretical-practical exams. The first one is carried out during the control point and evaluates the basic concepts of design, typography and vector drawing, while the second (which is carried out at the end of the course) evaluates deeper concepts at the project and digital treatment level. from image.
SA2. Exercices
The subject has six exercises to deliver during the course. These exercises are simple practices that will serve to continue using concepts and tools worked in class.
SA3. Prácticas
The course has three practices to deliver during the course. They are more complex exercises that have to be delivered together with a memory of up to a maximum of 1500 words.
SA4. Dossier
During the course, students must work on the development of a dossier of projects, where the projects carried out during the course will be put in order. The dossier must be a project in itself. You have to demonstrate character, personal judgment and a clear creative intention. The dossier must be submitted together with a written memory of up to a maximum of 1500 words.
