Description
In Animation IV, students already understand the principles of body mechanics and are now ready to learn locomotion in creature animation. In this class, students work on an exercise with a quadruped creature and practice animating cycles of running, walking, stopping, and turning. At the end of this class, students continue with advanced character acting to learn how to apply detail and subtlety in animation to make it believable. They learn techniques to strengthen their skills in polishing animation through full facial animation, lip-sync, complex human hand postures, and secondary action in acting.
