Description
Expressa Art is an elective that offers an immersion in the processes of contemporary artistic creation through collaboration with a cultural institution in the city. The course is built around an exhibition and a guest artist or curator, with whom students will work closely to understand the methodologies, languages ??and expressive strategies inherent in artistic practice.
Based on this approach, the subject proposes a graphic, spatial or conceptual production that does not seek to represent the artist?s work, but rather to reflect on how discourse can be constructed from expression, establishing connections between art and architecture. The workshop may include on-site sessions, intensive days with the artist or work proposals in direct relation to the exhibition. An opportunity to delve deeper into the contemporary expressive universe and to expand one?s own resources of representation and critical thinking.
