Pedro Ayesta Borrás

Architect for the 1998 ETSAB and Erasmus at the Kunstakademi arkitectskole in Copenhagen. Initially he worked in the offices of Jose Antonio Martinez-Lapeña and Elías Torres and also with Josep Llinás. Since 2002 he has been a partner of Ayesta-Daban architecture, developing very diverse projects ranging from cinema, housing, offices, schools to large-scale public buildings such as the Inteco building in León, the library of Sant Vicenç dels Horts, the auditorium and theater l´Atlàntida in Vic as well as various interventions in school and hospital buildings. He has won several architectural competitions with which he has been selected twice to form part of the architecture biennial of Venice. Pedro Ayesta also develops part of his activity as an artist and as a professor of projects at the La Salle architecture school, where he is also a teacher coordinator and member of the Architecture and Building Executive Committee.
