Students will explore foundational models such as Malthusian and Solow's growth theories, evaluate GDP as a measure of welfare, and examine how emerging technologies like AI and quantum computing influence economies and societies. The program also addresses labor impacts, digital materiality, and the role of public policies in promoting or hindering innovation.
