It is necessary to have knowledge of the subjects: Signals and Transmission Systems and Telematics.

Objectives: 

Learning Outcomes of this subject are: RA1: To know the services offered by telecommunications operators, procedures, types of contracts and associated costs.

Contents: 

1.- Introduction to the polyhedral vision of the TIC 2.- Social impact of ICT 3.- Role of the TIC in the transformation of the public administrations 4.- Science and technology: the fourth industrial revolution 5.- Ethics of technology 6.- Role of telecommunications operators 7.- Transformation of the urban space 8.- Technologies of the future 9.- Strategic innovation

Methodology: 

The subject has a weekly operation with 1 teaching session per week. Each session will address one of the topics of the contents and attendance is mandatory.

Evaluation: 

The assessment is based on work on the future of cities Both work and attendance are highly important academic activities.

Evaluation Criteria: 

The final grade for the course is the grade of the assignment.
