The course aims to help students specialize by working on real internal and external projects, often complemented by their final Thesis. There is close and continuous contact with companies in the sector; it is undoubtedly an excellent complement to the student's CV. The subject also offers the options for students to be teaching assistants at the University, ensuring a good level and starting point for an academic career.

Objectives

The main objective is to obtain a high degree of specialisation in any of the areas covered throughout the degree, working in a real environment, similar to the professional environments they will work in once they have completed thir studies, in terms of interdisciplinary, teamwork, leadership, executive decision-making about the design and execution of fully functional final solutions. Other objectives are outlined below:

Methodology

The subject is essentially based on work done by the students, always supervised by their teacher/advisor. A minimum number In this sense, certain weekly hours of work are necessary. There are different ways these are carried out:
1. Personalised tutorial:
Weekly meetings with the professor that coordinates the specialization to clarify doubts, direct the work and overcome possible obstacles

2. Face-to-face debate and forums:
The subject has a space in the digital platform used at the University and therefore it is possible to enable discussion forums where questions and answers are published on the subject of the work. It is a suitable means of communication, together with email, in case the student works from home.

3. Seminars:
These are focused on topics that are outside the scope of the degree but still related to research and collaborative work. Attendance at seminars is usually optional. The center also offers highly specialized specific training courses, in this case more oriented to tools for use in the business world.

Evaluation

1. Work done at home. From time to time, students have to carry out small exercises at home, based on collaboration

2. Practical work using a computer. The exercises to be carried out are practical and therefore must be carried out on a computer.

3. Presentations. In some cases, students have to present a report in front of the rest of the class
