The aim of the course is to delve into the human condition through the guidance of four great contemporary philosophers: Søren Kierkegaard (1813-1855), Friedrich Nietzsche (1844-1900), Max Scheler (1874-1928) and Edith Stein (1891-1942). Starting from the fundamental texts of each of them, the anthropological question is addressed and the analogies and differences that exist between their visions of the human condition are investigated.
