It is recommended that the student have studied or is studying the subjects `Networking Laboratory´ or `Operating System Administration´

Objectives

The objectives of this subject is that the students:

- Know well the concepts of network security, the existing threats, the necessary solutions and their deployment.
- Know and apply the techniques to secure networks and systems.
- Have the capacity to do security auditories (Ethical hacking)
- Know the laws related to ICT security and know how to act in consequence.

Methodology

This subject consists in theoretical-practical sessions done in the laboratory. Likewise, the student shall carry out several practices and works along the course.

All the practices are done inside a controlled testing environment called `LOST Project´ that permits the student do all kind of proves, testing and attacks without any kind of legal risk of prejudicing any real system.

The evaluation of the subject is from:
