Jaume Abella Fuentes

Jaume Abella, head of networking and cibersecurity (IT Department), coordinator of the "Master in Cibersecurity" and associate professor of the Degree in Telematics Engineering (Engineering of Networks and Internet Technologies). Received his degree in Electronics Engineering from La Salle - Ramon Llull University of Barcelona (URL) in 1994 and his degree in technical telecommunications engineering from the same university in 1992.

He has several publications on the subjects of telecommunications and intelligent systems applied to networking systems, and participated in R&D projects on topics like ATM networks, Artificial Intelligent techniques in networking and Traffic Engineering in MPLS networks.

He is associate professor of Networking Engineering and IT Security at Campus La Salle, Ramon Llull University, in Barcelona since 1997, Professor of CCNA and CCNP CISCO certifications since 2000, Director of the Master in IT Security from 2000 to 2008, Manager of the IT Department from 2003 to 2007 and member of ISECOM since 2001.
