The Bachelor's Degree in Animation and Visual Effects at La Salle Campus Barcelona offers you a comprehensive training animation and VFX, combining creativity and technology to develop a high-level portfolio. The recognition guarantees the talent and preparation you will acquire during your training.
Throughout the program, you will master the most advanced 3D animation techniques and explore the latest technological innovations in the sector. In addition, we integrate artificial intelligence naturally into the curriculum, preparing you to face the challenges of the industry with an innovative and up-to-date vision.
You will be trained in all the stages of production:
- Pre-production: ideas, creativity, screenplay, design, narrative and storyboard.
- Production: 3D modelling, textures-shading, rigging, animation, illumination, render and FX.
- Post-Production: composition, assembly and colour correction, 3D VFX and motion graphics.
- Industry: distribution, finance, intellectual property, project management, entrepreneurship and leadership.
The professionalising degree simulates the real working environment in companies, with group projects and constant presentations that will make you an expert in communicating and defending your ideas. In addition, thanks to the specialisation electives and the Final Thesis Project, you will consolidate your professional profile with real experience.
In addition, you will have access to the IASlab (Interactive Arts & Science Laboratory), a pioneering facility for transdisciplinary research and artistic creation. This space is equipped with an immersive room, as well as laboratories specialising in visual effects, virtual reality, augmented reality and acoustics, offering you a unique environment for experimentation and innovation.
To ensure the future of your projects, we also have BrooderLab, a production and distribution company linked to La Salle Campus Barcelona that connects students with the audiovisual industry. It offers a space with professionals to promote your talent and facilitate participation in international festivals and events.

Our approach goes beyond the use of digital tools: we train our students to develop critical and deep thinking about AI.
