DETAILED INFORMATION ON PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA FOR INFORMATION AND PROMOTION

Who is responsible for the processing of the data?

FUNDACIÓ PRIVADA UNIVERSITAT I TECNOLOGIA (FUNITEC), CIF G60643558, Sant Joan de la Salle Street, 42, 08022-Barcelona, Tel: 93 290 24 00, email: secre@salle.url.edu, www.salleurl.edu (hereafter FUNITEC).

You can contact the Data Protection Officer (DPO) by email at dpd@salle.url.edu

What is the purpose of the data processing?

FUNITEC records the data to keep track of the people receiving information about its activities, services and initiatives. This information can be sent using one or several of the communication channels used by FUNITEC, such as sending texts via email, online posts or messages to mobile devices.

How long is data kept?

Personal data will be kept until such time as the person receiving the information expresses their wish to stop receiving information. Where individuals receive information as representatives of legal entities, the data may be eliminated if they cease to hold said representation.

What is the legal ground for the data processing?

The data is subject to processing on the grounds of consent from the person receiving the information, which they may revoke at any time. Should this happen, your data will be eliminated immediately.

Who is the data communicated to?

Personal data is not communicated to others unless it is with the prior consent of the interested party, which consent must be explicit.

What rights exist with regard to the processing of data?

Everyone has the right to obtain confirmation as to whether FUNITEC is processing their personal data. In the event we are, you have the right to know where the data was obtained (in the event that it was not provided directly by you), as well as the purpose for which the data is processed. In general, the law recognises the rights of interested parties to access their data, as well as to request the rectification of inaccurate data or, where appropriate, request deletion of the data when it is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected and there is no obligation to keep it. In the case of subscription to information channels or services, data is deleted immediately upon receiving the request of the interested party. In certain circumstances, the interested parties may request limitation of the processing of their data, a right that gives them control over their data mainly in order to correct possible inadequate handling, as well as allowing them to make claims in defence of their rights.
