The learning method of this master is totally professional and focuses on creating a project for a company. Thus:
- The training methodology applied to achieve the competencies of the MUX is based on the Project-Based Cooperative Learning.
- Cooperative learning allows students to work as a team to face both projects and problems. Regarding the MUX, the aim is for said projects to be dealt with through real customers having real needs—hence students will approach projects at a professional level.
- When carrying out a project, both roles and tasks are distributed. However, each student is responsible for both their part of the project and those parts corresponding to the rest of the team. Thus, the evaluation of the whole team is interdependent, for it must achieve a satisfactory result so each student is successful as an individual.
- The main features of this methodology are:
- An improvement of the students’ ability to both listen and put up with different opinions and perspectives in order to reach consensus in decision making.
- An improvement of both individual and group critical thinking.
- An improvement of content integration, for students co-learn.
Smart Learning
The new normal requires a new way of teaching and learning, adapted to a constantly changing situation that demands flexible learning, without having a single format and method, but multiple options that adapt to all the new educational needs of students in an intelligent and technological way.
La Salle Campus Barcelona, a pioneer institution in the incorporation of technologies in education, has implemented Smart Learning since September 2020, a new educational model and technological system that adapts to on-site, blended, distance and online training formats, in all its multiple versions and possible combinations, according to the needs of the program and the students.
