Digital products are part of almost everything we do: we play, learn, shop, communicate and explore new environments through interfaces and interactive experiences.
The Bachelor's Degree in Interactive Product Design and Creation responds to the technology sector's growing demand for the application of technology for both artistic and functional purposes. You will learn to design, programme and develop innovative interactive products, from interactive installations to web and mobile applications, combining creativity, design and programming to meet people's needs.
You will work across disciplines such as UX/UI design, prototyping, multimedia engineering, audiovisual production, 2D and 3D modelling and interactive technologies. You will also explore areas such as virtual and augmented reality, animation and the integration of electronic components.
Why study the Bachelor's Degree in Interactive Product Design and Creation at La Salle-URL?
Bring together design, technology and creativity
This degree combines three areas that are often studied separately: multimedia engineering, digital arts and interactive technologies. This combination will enable you to approach a product from its initial concept through to its design, programming and production.
Obtain a Specialisation in Video Games
During the degree, you can obtain the Specialisation in Video Games by completing the required 48 ECTS credits and become an expert in this field, working across disciplines such as game design, video game art and video game programming.
Design with people in mind
An interactive product does not work simply because it uses good technology. It must also be useful, understandable and appealing. You will learn to apply user experience, interface design and functionality principles to create solutions that respond to real needs.
Learn in a cross-disciplinary environment
You will share an academic environment with students from other specialisms, such as Digital Arts and Multimedia Engineering. This cross-disciplinary approach will help you understand different professional languages and adapt to the constant evolution of technology.
Explore Barcelona's technology ecosystem
You will study at La Salle Campus Barcelona, in an environment connected to technology, creativity and digital innovation. You will also have access to the facilities of the IASlab (Interactive Arts & Science Laboratory), a pioneer in transdisciplinary research and artistic creation.
The space is equipped with an immersive room, as well as laboratories specialising in visual effects, virtual reality, augmented reality and acoustics, providing you with a unique environment for experimentation and innovation.
