Digital art does not begin with a tool. It begins with a way of seeing that is capable of asking new questions.
Digital art is not confined to a screen. Today, it creates virtual worlds, inhabits immersive and interactive spaces, engages with artificial intelligence and transforms the way we see and experience art.
In the Bachelor’s Degree in Digital Arts at La Salle Campus Barcelona, you will learn to create at the intersection of fine art, critical thinking, technology and artificial intelligence. This official university degree combines traditional artistic foundations with advanced digital tools, enabling you to develop your own creative perspective, experiment and explore new artistic languages.
A degree that goes beyond convention
The Bachelor’s Degree in Digital Arts is aimed at students who see art as a means of interpreting the present and imagining new possibilities.
You will study in a transdisciplinary environment where artistic creation intersects with engineering, animation, interactive design, philosophy, architecture and artificial intelligence. This combination will enable you to understand technology not as an end in itself, but as a creative language that you can question, transform and take further.
During the first two years, you will gain a solid foundation in art, design and digital creation. From the third year onwards, you will be able to tailor your studies towards the field that best reflects your artistic identity:
Concept Art
You will learn to design worlds, characters, environments and visual universes capable of transforming an idea into an image with compelling narrative power. This specialisation is linked to sectors such as advertising, video games, film, animation and audiovisual production.
New Media Art
You will explore new forms of creation through interactive installations, immersive experiences, virtual reality, video mapping, light and sound art, and technologies applied to cultural, performance and exhibition spaces.
In your fourth year, you will undertake an external work placement and develop your Final Degree Project, a key piece of work that will help you build your portfolio and showcase your individual voice as a digital artist.
An up-to-date, international education
The Bachelor’s Degree in Digital Arts at La Salle Campus Barcelona is continually updated to reflect developments in the creative and technology sectors. It includes specific training in artificial intelligence for artists and, from the 2026–2027 academic year, can be studied entirely in English.
The programme also offers Erasmus opportunities and international exchanges, within a diverse campus community comprising students of more than 120 nationalities and providing a distinctly global outlook for your future.
