Methodology
The Bachelor’s Degree in Health Engineering is taught mainly at La Salle Campus Barcelona. Some practical sessions take place in the Blanquerna laboratories, particularly in subjects such as Human Anatomy, Human Physiology and Biomechanics
A methodology based on the 3 Is: interaction, immersion and innovation
The bachelor’s degree methodology is based on the 3 Is and connects technical learning with real challenges in the medical and healthcare field.
- Interaction: You will learn in a close, participatory environment, with ongoing dialogue with lecturers and activities linked to the Health Engineering ecosystem.
- Immersion: You will undertake external placements in centres or companies in the health sector and take part in an international experience in Boston, one of the leading ecosystems for biomedical innovation and digital health.
- Innovation: You will develop real projects through subjects, the Final Bachelor’s Degree Project and external placements, with a focus on healthcare technology, biomedical innovation and entrepreneurship in the life sciences.
