Goals
Turning data into knowledge requires much more than mastering tools. It requires knowing which questions to ask, how to interpret information and how to translate it into decisions with impact.
The programme prepares students to work with data from start to finish and develop solutions based on advanced analytics, artificial intelligence and machine learning. Throughout the programme, they will acquire the skills to:
- Analyse and prepare data rigorously, from its collection, cleaning and transformation to pattern identification, exploratory analysis and the application of advanced statistical techniques.
- Apply artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques to develop classification, prediction and optimisation models aimed at solving complex problems across different sectors and business areas.
- Design clear and understandable data visualisations that make it possible to interpret results, communicate findings and facilitate evidence-based decision-making.
- Work with tools and languages used in data science, such as Python, R and SQL, to analyse information, automate processes and build models.
- Integrate knowledge into applied data analysis projects, covering the entire process: from collecting and preparing information to implementing models and presenting results.
Because the value of data does not lie solely in accumulating it. It lies in knowing how to connect it, interpret it and turn it into decisions capable of addressing specific challenges.
