Goals
The Master in Architectural and Environmental Acoustics will train you on two concepts: architectural acoustics and noise pollution.
You will learn the theory, which will be applied in practical cases and professional demand type situations.
In this way, you will gain competences in the following fields:
- Improvement and expansion of knowledge, thanks to a good understanding of the theoretical bases that intervene in the matter.
- Professional solutions and explanation of projects by a teaching staff made up of experienced professors and professionals of the sector with experience.
- Design of solution proposals for each situation and realization of complete projects to implement them.
- Accomplishment of any type of acoustic measurement with professional equipment and according to the relevant regulations.
- Computer simulation, with professional simulation programs in all subjects (environmental impact, acoustic simulation of spaces, isolation, etc).
- Knowledge of the current acoustic legislation, such as the European Directive, the Noise Law, regional and municipal laws and the Noise Protection Document of the Spanish Technical Building Code.
