Methodology
Learning architecture requires more than memorising concepts; that is why the degree is based on the methodology of 'learning architecture by doing architecture' from the first year. You will work on real projects within the Design Studio, research spatial solutions and develop technical judgement in a workshop-based environment of constant debate.
Features of the La Salle-URL methodology
- Applied learning from the first year: Concepts are developed through a learning-by-challenge methodology, linking theory to projects based on real cases.
- Collaboration with professionals: The programme maintains direct contact with leading architects from Spain and abroad, who actively take part in classes and masterclasses.
- Multicultural environment: Internationalisation is experienced in the classroom, through shared processes and learning with students and lecturers from diverse backgrounds.
- Multidisciplinary projects: You will develop a cross-disciplinary perspective by collaborating with students from other areas of knowledge, recreating the dynamics of real professional teams.
- Connection with the world of work: Through Career Services and the alignment between academic and professional activity, internships allow you to orient your interests towards future practices and projects.
- International experience: The pathway includes academic exchanges and trips to benchmark cities such as Delft, Lisbon and London to study their architectural value.
