TFM type 1.- Development and implementation projects of a product. In this case, taking a new product, the job is to draw up the development and implementation project. For this type of project, it is necessary that the product or implementation have innovative elements that generate a novel work on which to develop the research.
TFM type 2.- Process application proposals. In this case, taking an existing tool / process, the job consists of investigating its potential application to a specific sector. It is the application in a specific and new environment that generates a working hypothesis to be validated.
TFM type 3.- Generation of knowledge. The study of the generation of new tools, methodologies, rules, principles... that broaden the area of knowledge of project management is proposed. Given a problem detected in the project management area, the scientific method will be applied to corroborate a working hypothesis that will be verified through results obtained through qualitative / quantitative data collection methodologies. It must be based on a theoretical framework that gives scientific consistency to what is to be confirmed, that is, it requires a good frame of the question to be investigated or the starting hypothesis.
The method of employment is based on the Project Based Learning (PBL), so that the subject is organized in:
Work sessions supervised by teachers, who act as mentors for the work to be carried out, providing suggestions and guideline. It will be the responsibility of the students to investigate and deepen the best practices for the development of a project.
Presentations in class of the different deliveries.
Presentation and final defense before a court, which will evaluate the subject.
The assessment of the subject will be based on the individual performance of the student and the defense of the work before a court, according to the following distribution:
Subject work (90%)
