Master Thesis

Description
As a synthesis of the Master's programme, the Master's Final Project (TFM) consists of a project that integrates and applies the knowledge acquired through the various modules of the programme. This may take the form of an IT Strategic Plan, a Digital Transformation Strategic Plan, an Artificial Intelligence Strategic Plan, the implementation of a new product or service, or a technological R&D initiative. The project must be publicly defended before an academic panel, and students are required to have successfully completed all modules of the programme prior to the defence.

Methodology

The methodology used is based on Project Based Learning (PBL), so that the course is organized as follows:
- Work sessions tutored by professors, who act as mentors of the work to be done, providing suggestions and guidelines. It will be the students' responsibility to investigate and deepen in the best practices for the development of the TFM.
- Presentation and final defense before a court, which will evaluate the course.

Evaluation

On-site modality:

The TFM will be evaluated by an examining board composed of a president and two members.

The evaluation of the course will be based on the individual performance of the student and the defense of the work before an examining board, according to the following distribution:

- Course work (50%)
- Presentation before the examining board (50%)

The grade is out of 10 and is approved with a grade equal to or higher than 5.
In order to defend the TFM, students must have passed all the subjects of the master's degree.
