La Salle-URL’s University Master’s Degree in Project Management provides students with advanced, up-to-date and multidisciplinary education to manage projects across different sectors and professional environments. The programme combines an academic perspective with the practical application of Project Management, addressing the three dimensions that determine the success of a project: people, processes and business strategy.
Throughout the master’s degree, students will develop the skills to:
- Plan, manage, execute and evaluate projects of different kinds, applying the international standards established by the Project Management Institute (PMI).
- Select the most appropriate approach for each project, using methodologies and frameworks such as Agile, Scrum, Lean and Waterfall throughout the different phases of its life cycle: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control and closure.
- Analyse the requirements, constraints and limitations of a project, assessing how they affect its value chain, objectives and results.
- Manage the main areas of Project Management, including scope, costs, schedule, resources, procurement, quality, risks and relationships with stakeholders.
- Develop professional judgement for decision-making, prioritising actions and adapting project management when the organisation’s conditions, needs or expectations change.
- Strengthen management and team leadership skills, which are essential for coordinating diverse profiles, encouraging collaboration and keeping people aligned with a common objective.
- Understand the technical aspects of contracts and project administration, in order to manage relationships with clients, supplier companies and other parties involved.
