Goals
Upon completion of the master's degree, you will be able to work on the entire Big Data cycle, from infrastructure and processing to data analysis and exploitation. These are the objectives that guide the program:
- You will train as an expert in the processing of large volumes of data, combining the technological perspective with analytics.
- You will design scalable ICT infrastructures, with physical and virtual datacentres.
- You will master advanced data mining techniques and algorithms.
- You will use Business Intelligence and Business Analytics tools to turn data into decisions.
- You'll manage the software needed to store and process large volumes of data.
- You will understand the paradigm of parallel and distributed computing with Map/Reduce and Spark.
- You'll acquire the skills to deliver value at any point in the Big Data cycle, from capture to prediction.
