Requirements
You will be able to study La Salle’s Master’s in Cybersecurity if you have an official university degree or master’s degree in higher or technical engineering, or if you have a degree in the following areas:
- Telematics engineering.
- Computer engineering.
- Telecommunication engineering.
- Engineering in ICT Management.
If you do not have a previous university degree, your professional experience in the field of telematics, computer systems and security will be evaluated.
You must have knowledge in:
- Windows and Linux/Unix system administration: user management, file systems, software installation, etc.
- Mastery of protocols and network operation: Ethernet, TCP/IP, etc.
- Administration of network equipment: routers, switches, firewalls, etc.
- Web server management: Apache, NginX, etc.
- Good knowledge of programming. Knowledge of languages, mainly C, Java, Javascript, PHP, Phyton or Perl, will be an asset.
- Good knowledge of HTML/CSS.
- High level of knowledge about the deployment of networks in virtual environments such as VMWare.
- Knowledge about databases: SQL, MySQL, etc.
- Good level of English (reading).
We also look for knowledge about:
- Computer architecture.
- Assembly language.
