The Master in Cybersecurity at La Salle will teach you cybersecurity in the only way that really works: by facing real environments from the first session.
The master's degree begins in mid-October and ends when you defend your final master's project (TFM). The theoretical-practical classes end in April/May and, from that month, you will dedicate yourself to the TFM, which you will be able to defend in July (or in September, in an extraordinary call).
All subjects are theoretical-practical from the first session. The face-to-face classes are eminently practical and are taught in the specialized Telematics laboratories of La Salle Campus Barcelona.
For each subject, you will need to bring a laptop with the following specifications:
- 64-bit operating system (Windows, Linux, or MAC OS)
- Minimum 16 GBytes of RAM
- Minimum 200 GBytes of available disk space (HD)
At the beginning of the course you will receive the "VMWare Workstation" software to carry out the internship, along with a specific virtual testing environment for each subject. In some subjects, you will use "Virtual BOX" instead of VMWare.
You will have direct access via email with the teacher of each subject to answer questions about the sessions taught.
Smart Learning
Teaching and learning no longer respond to a single format. Today's training requires flexibility: different methods that are intelligently adapted to the needs of each student.
La Salle Campus Barcelona was a pioneer in incorporating technology into education. Since September 2020 we have been applying Smart Learning, a model that combines face-to-face, blended, distance and online formats, and that adjusts to the needs of each program and each student.
