The Master’s in Cultural Studies in Architecture is aimed at graduates in architecture, urban planning, landscape architecture, design, engineering, fine arts, philosophy, sociology, anthropology, art history, communication, cultural management and other related disciplines who are interested in exploring the relationships between architecture, culture and society from a critical and interdisciplinary perspective.
We welcome applicants with an interest in research, critical thinking and the development of new professional practices in areas such as architectural culture, mediation, curating, communication, heritage and knowledge production. Applications from candidates with other academic backgrounds will be considered on an individual basis.
The programme is taught entirely in English, so applicants must demonstrate a sufficient level of proficiency to follow classes, participate in discussions and produce academic work in English.
