Goals
Upon completion of the Programme in Sustainability Management in Business:
- You will understand the global context and its impact on the company, including the main environmental, social and economic challenges, as well as international efforts (SDGs, 2030 Agenda, European Pact).
- You will learn about sustainability regulations and frameworks, and you will learn how to apply them as a competitive advantage in your organization.
- You will design strategies against climate change, developing plans for decarbonisation, circular economy, environmental regeneration and biodiversity conservation.
- You will apply positive social impact (JEDI) models, driving inclusion, equity, and sustainability in the value chain and in the community.
- You will develop sustainable leadership and good corporate governance, integrating sustainability into culture and organisational processes.
- You will define metrics, KPIs and key indicators to measure and communicate impact, aligned with standards and certifications such as B Corp.
- You will integrate sustainability into products, processes and projects, applying methodologies such as eco-design and life cycle analysis.
- You will manage communication and reporting in sustainability, avoiding greenwashing and complying with regulations such as the CSRD, with the support of digital tools and Artificial Intelligence.
- You will relate sustainability and finance, understanding how to generate long-term economic value from sustainable management.
- You will draw up a strategic sustainability plan, incorporating double materiality and appropriate governance models.
