Before the start of the session, students must complete the preparatory tasks on their own, in this
case reading or viewing the academic material recommended by the teacher, as well as solving the proposed cases or exercises.
Classes are divided into two blocks:
o Theory block:
- The teacher teaches the concepts and tools related to the
topic of the session.
o Practical block:
- Students apply and develop the concepts and tools through cases and practical exercises, as well as through group work on the
subject, which deals with the proposal of a competitive strategy and the development of a company's business model.
Practical exercises: 30%
Group workshops: 40%
Examen final: 30%.
Practical exercises: 30%. Students will complete the assignments indicated in the corresponding sessions, as reflected in the Work Plan (3 assignments). Each assignment will be individually assessed at 10%.
Group workshops: 40%. Practical workshops lasting the entire session. The work will be carried out in class and presented to the teaching team, who will assess the work of each group. The workshops in sessions 9 and 10 will be assessed by submitting the resulting work to
the corresponding drop box. Each assignment will be worth 20%.
Final exam: 30%. A 15-question test will be scheduled at the end of the course.
The date and time of the active window for taking the exam will be determined. With a grade equal to or
higher than 5 in the final exam, the average will be calculated together with the rest of the assessment systems
to determine the grade for the course. With a grade lower than 5 in the final exam ,the course will be failed without the possibility of calculating the average together with the rest of the assessment systems. The grade for the final exam in the extraordinary exam session will not be higher than 7/10
Use of AI tools:
- Artificial Intelligence (AI) can help in the learning process, but we must
use it appropriately. Students who choose to use AI in their work
must include a paragraph at the end of the assignment or activity in which they have used this tool, explaining why they decided to use it and the results obtained with it. Failure to include this information will be considered an attempt at fraud or cheating, as it deceives the Assessment System.
