This subject describes the characteristics of e-business projects or digital innovation strategy and emphasizes the definition of the concept of e- business and the effects that such projects have in today's organizations. The types of systems that lead to e -business strategies or digital business are explained and how they should be addressed from the perspective of project management and organizational.

- Analyze the impact of ICT and innovation in business strategy
- Understand the role that business models play in today's competitive environment
- Learn to identify the implications that e-business, ICT and innovation have in formulating business models
- Identify the determinants of socio-economic environment that affect the proposed business value

Methodology

Course content is developed with discussion of various cases and analysis of examples of the impact of ICT in organizations. A deep conceptual development complements the evidence of cases and examples analyzed. Readings are proposed to complete the knowledge acquired. The analyzes of cases served to consolidate the concepts and taught throughout the course ideas.
The course workload will be distributed as follow:

Evaluation

The course assessment will be based upon the student´s individual performance and the grade obtained in the teamwork, with the following weighting:
A- Participation (debates, forum, articles, etc.): 20%
B- Individual and Workgroup (Case resolution, Project, content development, etc.): 60%
C- Test: 20%
