Xavier Castillo Ferrer

"Xavier Castillo obtained a Telecommunications Engineering degree at UPC in 1976, a M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering in 1978 and a Ph. D. in Electrical Engineering (Computer Engineering) in 1981 at CMU, an MBA (IESE) in 1988, and a BA (Honours) in Humanities (Music) at the Open University in 2009.
He has held several executive management positions in IT and telecommunications companies like Data General (Systems Mgr., Managing Director in DG Portugal), BT (Sales Mgr.), Retevision (Sales and Marketing Director), Tempos 21 (CEO), and AMETIC, the ITC trade sector association in Spain (Electronics Director).
Xavier Castillo is currently teaching courses on R&D & Innovation Mgmt, ITC Market and Policies, and Innovation Mgmt. He is a founding member of NAUSIKA - TECNOLOGÍA PARA EL BIEN COMÚN."
