What if looking at the world through a single discipline were not enough to understand its greatest challenges?
Inequality, sustainability, technological transformation, and political and social change raise questions that have no simple answers. Understanding this reality requires us to connect different ways of thinking and analyse problems from a broad, critical and humanistic perspective.
The double Degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics and in Philosophy combines the rigour of philosophical thought with political, economic and social analysis. The programme provides multidisciplinary training that enables you to interpret the complexity of the world, develop well-reasoned arguments and formulate sound responses through dialogue between different fields of knowledge.
An inter-university experience
During the first three academic years, you study at La Salle Campus Barcelona, Comillas Pontifical University and the University of Deusto. You share the classroom with students and lecturers from three leading universities, experience different teaching methodologies and expand your academic and professional network.
This experience helps you adapt to different environments, compare perspectives and enrich your education through a more open and international outlook.
Beyond the classroom
Learning also takes place outside the classroom. You take part in oratory and rhetoric seminars, where you develop your ability to construct speeches, defend ideas and present arguments in public.
You also attend sessions with diplomats, consultants, institutional representatives and professionals from the political and social spheres. Through the Cicle Polític and Vespres de Pensament, you connect academic knowledge with major current issues and participate in spaces for reflection and debate.
Leadership for transformation
Complement your education with La Salle Campus Barcelona’s Programme in Leadership for the Transformation of Teams and People. This university-specific qualification helps you develop skills in leadership, team management and decision-making in complex contexts.
You learn how organisations operate, how to support processes of change and how to place people at the centre of decision-making.
Two degrees, a broader perspective
More than simply awarding you two degrees, this double degree prepares you to understand the world critically, connect different disciplines and lead projects capable of generating a positive impact on society.
