Description
The subject will teach the student the traditional painting techniques (oil, watercolour, coloured pencil, gouache, pastel ...) The composition and colour will be worked, with the tone and saturation, as well as the representation of volumes, the study of the light and atmospheres. Likewise, portrait painting and the human figure will be studied, as well as landscape painting.

The student knows the strategies in the pictorial plantation of an image.
The student knows how to capture, apply and translate and represent the represented color.
The student knows how to represent the human figure, objects and landscape through traditional artistic painting.

Methodology

The subject will be developed through active and participatory teaching methodologies that help the student to assimilate the knowledge, competences and learning objectives of the subject. The cooperative work as well as the autonomous work will be promoted, strengthening the interrelation between student and teacher; as well as the interdisciplinarity that will give the opportunity to expand concepts between diverse matters.
