Goals
The Ethics, Bioethics, and Technoethics Program equips you to acquire the following competencies:
- Innovation and application: gain solid knowledge that will enable you to develop and apply original ideas in ethics, bioethics, and technoethics.
- Problem-solving: learn to interpret and resolve ethical problems in various professional contexts with a strong foundation in theory and practice.
- Effective communication: develop skills to communicate effectively with both specialized and general audiences in the field of ethics and technoethics.
- Informed judgments: formulate critical judgments on contemporary ethical issues, with a deep understanding of social and ethical responsibilities from a Christian humanism perspective.
Specific competencies:
- Critical analysis: analyze and contextualize ethical and technoethical theories and issues within their historical and cultural contexts.
- Reasoned discourse: develop a critical and reasoned discourse on ethical issues.
- Philosophical contextualization: situate philosophical works within their historical and cultural horizon.
- Analytical methods: develop and apply rigorous methods to understand ethical problems from both synchronic and diachronic perspectives.
