byWomen. 5 Architects and Their Circumstances
Research Lines
"5 Architects and Their Circumstances" aims primarily to highlight and give visibility to the work of women in the field of cultural heritage, integrating their legacy into academia and into the network of professionals engaged in diverse interpretations of landscape and architecture.
The lecture series will present professional experiences related to architectural, urban, and landscape heritage, creating inclusive narratives from a variety of local and international perspectives. Topics include research and publications on traditional architecture in Syrian and North African regions, earthen constructions in the Atacama Desert, peri-urban voids as spaces of resistance, new approaches to representing and understanding the physical reality of things, and the challenges faced by women architects in the preservation and intervention of tangible heritage.
