Teaching Activity
He has developed an extensive academic career since 1998 as a design studio professor at European and American universities. He has delivered lectures and participated in academic activities at institutions such as Harvard GSD, Cornell University and MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology), as well as at international architecture congresses such as UIA 2011 (Tokyo) and BIAU 2019 (Asunción).
Professional Activity
Barcelona-based architect and director of Josep Ferrando Architecture, he combines professional practice with teaching and academic reflection on architecture. His work has been exhibited internationally, including monographic exhibitions at venues such as the Biennale di Architettura di Venezia (2014), the Architekturforum Aedes gallery in Berlin and the Museum of Modern Art in Rio de Janeiro.
In 2016, he participated in the exhibition “Unfinished” at the Spanish Pavilion of the 15th Venice Architecture Biennale, awarded the Golden Lion.
