Learning outcomes for students who attend this subject, based on the curriculum of their Master's degree are:
1. Knowledge for designing electronic devices, microelectronic, photonic instrumentation and telecommunications.
2. Knowledge of current technology trends with application to telecommunications
The goal is for students to develop the skills and aptitudes necessary to allow in the future to develop interdisciplinary projects. They will learn to program a robot with Arduino peripherals and sensors, and ability to communicate with a mobile device.

The training activities used in the course are:

Each session is divided into two parts: the first part the teacher teaches the basic skills so that students can investigate and perform the task. The rest of the session is dedicated to implementing the case. The teacher assists students who need to clarify any doubts that may arise.
Assessment activities used in the course are:
- Work performed individually or in groups
- Reports
- Presentations
For this subject, the teacher proposes a number of deliveries to perform each week. These deliveries correspond to the implementation of the different parts of the system.
Depending on the code and the final result the student obtains a series of marks that will build the final grade. The student must also perform a series of reports on the results.
