La Salle-URL students take part in ‘Episòdic’, an audiovisual project promoted by betevé and the Barcelona City Council

Four Animation students and one student from the Degree in Design and Creation of Interactive Products take part in the creation of the series’ opening sequence and post-production

Five students from La Salle Campus Barcelona, a founding member of Universitat Ramon Llull, are taking part in Episòdic, a new audiovisual series promoted by betevé in collaboration with the Barcelona City Council, through the Institut de Cultura de Barcelona (ICUB), and the production company Serielizados, which aims to connect emerging talent with the audiovisual industry. The project, set to premiere in autumn 2026, brings together more than thirty undergraduate and master’s students from various universities and training centres across the city, who are working together on the creation of a series based on the adaptation of contemporary Catalan theatre works.

In this regard, La Salle-URL students are already working on the creative process of the first season, which will adapt the play El principio de Arquímedes by playwright Josep Maria Miró. Specifically, four students from the Bachelor in Animation & VFXMartina Pou i Teixidor, Laura Frató Caro, Maria Valentines Casas and Duna Agustí Soldevila— are developing the opening and closing sequence of the episodes, one of the most distinctive elements of the series. In addition, Xué Cendrós Canals, a student from the Bachelor in Design and Creation of Interactive Products, is participating in the project by collaborating in editing and colour grading, contributing to the final finish of the production.

According to the project’s promoters, Episòdic is conceived as both a training and professional experience, in which students work in a real audiovisual production environment, in contact with teams and dynamics typical of the industry. In addition, the project seeks to foster collaboration between different disciplines and institutions. In this sense, participation in this initiative reinforces La Salle-URL’s commitment to an education connected to the professional environment, which promotes talent development and brings students closer, in this case, to the real dynamics of the audiovisual industry.
