A programme that drives talent and connects it with industry

The Rookies has established itself as one of the industry’s most important rankings, evaluating schools and universities worldwide based on the quality of students’ projects and their technical and creative preparation. The results achieved by Animation and VFX Degree students highlight a programme grounded in practice and project development, enabling them to apply their knowledge and take on the creative and technical challenges of the professional world.

This connection with industry also continues beyond the classroom: Brooder Lab, the content and emerging talent incubator born on campus, gives students’ projects a platform and brings them closer to the animation and audiovisual ecosystem. Animation Talents 2026 is another example, recently bringing the degree students’ projects to the big screen and connecting them with industry professionals.

The journey of short films such as Baile con la muerte, DAVI and Ramen for two, recognised at national and international festivals and competitions, also reinforces this showcase of the campus’s talent. Taken together, the results of The Rookies 2026 recognise the talent of the campus’s students and a programme that combines creativity, technical preparation and hands-on experience to connect university learning with a global industry.
