Students, alumni, and faculty from the Bachelor’s Degree in Animation & VFX at La Salle-URL will once again come together to celebrate Animation Fest 2026, the event that marks the end of the academic year and recognizes the most outstanding projects of the year.
The event will combine inspiration, recognition, and community in a gathering where the best student projects will be awarded and the talent driving the next generation of animation and visual effects professionals will be showcased.
Our special guest will be Xavier Roig, a professional with an outstanding international career at some of the industry’s most prestigious studios. Throughout his career, he has worked on productions such as Avatar, The Adventures of Tintin, The Mitchells vs. The Machines, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, The Garfield Movie, and the highly anticipated Avatar 3, among many others.
His talk will offer an exclusive insight into the creative and technical processes behind some of the most relevant productions in contemporary animation and will allow attendees to discover firsthand the reality of the international industry.
The program will conclude with an awards ceremony for the best projects of the year and a networking space to celebrate the end of the academic year together.
