The Program in Data Science and Big Data in Business will provide you with an analysis of what you need to turn your company into a Data Science organization, oriented towards making critical decisions based on data. Under the umbrella of Data Science, various concepts such as Big Data, Data Mining, Data Storytelling, Data Visualization, Business Analytics, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, etc., are housed, techniques that are currently applied to manage businesses and that you will understand thanks to this course.
In this program, you will learn how your company can access more data sources with higher dimensionality (meta data). You will practice methods to analyze this data, such as supervised learning (Knn, RF, SVM) or unsupervised learning (PCA, AGNES, DIANA). In each session, we will provide you with the Python code, which you will apply through specific business cases, and we will give you the necessary information so that you can use it for your company's case.
The amount of data produced, captured, and processed in the world is growing exponentially. Big Data makes no sense if we cannot visualize and contextualize it. Data visualization is a practice that combines graphic design, statistics, visual interface, and narrative skills, and has become a key point for analyzing and communicating data, impacting business decisions. For this reason, we will teach you to visualize data and present your findings using tools such as Python, Tableau, or Power BI.
You will conclude the Program in Data Science and Big Data in Business with a practice of an Artificial Intelligence Canvas that will allow you to review everything you have learned using the real case of your company. It will be an opportunity for you to define a Data-Driven business initiative and for your company to take advantage of it.
