The Double Degree programs are more demanding than the 4-year undergraduate programs (240 ECTS credits) and the single Degree programs. Therefore, these courses are designed for students with excellent academic records who have spe-cialized in the scientifictechnological baccalaureate. Candidates for this program will have to provide proof of their academic performance in their final years of high school when they complete the admission process.
The Double Degree Qualification in International Computer Engineering and Busi-ness and Technology Management at La Salle BCN aims to create the technological and business leaders of the future, capable of leading business management activi-ties, providing consulting services, implementing IT Systems which resolve data handling issues in a company or organization, on both a global scale and in local-ised functional areas.
There is a strong market demand for professionals with analytical abilities and man-agement skills, whose profile can adapt to positions in strategic management (Fi-nance, Human Resources,
Sales and Marketing, Distribution and commerce, etc.) or in executive management, at the top of the company organigram.

 

The Double Degree in Computer Engineering and in the Management of Technological Companies aims to train the technological business executives of the future, capable of leading business activities such as management, consultancy and the implementation and maintenance of IT and data management systems for companies and organisations, both globally and more specifically.

The labour market is currently seeking profiles with a high analytical capacity and management skills to work as managers of strategic departments of the company (financial, human resources, sales and marketing, distribution and commerce, etc.) or as senior management positions, as well as other positi-ons in the company's structure.

As a result of the development of information technologies and their increasing impact on all professional sectors and all functional areas, a 2015 issue of the Forbes magazine placed 6 technological companies among the top 10 most powerful brands in the world, namely: Apple, Microsoft, Google, Coca-Cola, IBM, McDonald's, Samsung, Toyota, General Electrics and Facebook.
