What if this summer you built your own computer?

This Summer School introduces you to computer engineering through a 100% practical experience: building your own SoC computer. You will learn how the hardware, software and systems that make the technology we use every day possible actually work.

During the course, you will go from being a technology user to becoming a technology creator. You will discover how each component is connected, learn the foundations of programming and develop your first technology project.

Why choose this Summer School?

  • You will build a computer from scratch and understand how it works inside.
  • You will combine hardware, software, programming and logical thinking.
  • You will explore the relationship between technology, creativity and innovation.
  • You will learn to transform technical ideas into real projects.
  • You will discover how computer engineering impacts society and the challenges of the future.

What will you learn?

  • To understand how a computer is built and how it works.
  • To configure hardware, an operating system, internet connection and peripherals.
  • To develop a practical understanding of computer engineering.
  • To learn the foundations of programming and development.
  • To work with variables, inputs, decisions, loops and real-world data.
  • To explore Internet of Things applications and develop a final project.
  • To strengthen scientific curiosity, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

What will your experience be like?

The course combines hands-on learning, analytical thinking and project development. You will work in English, in small groups and with a practical methodology that will allow you to understand technology from the inside.
