La Salle Campus Barcelona, a founding member of the Universitat Ramon Llull, is starting the 2024-2025 academic year with more than 800 new undergraduate students. Last academic year, the campus reached the highest number of students in all its programs, exceeding 7,900 enrolled students, including undergraduate degrees, master's degrees, doctoral courses, executive training programs, internships and other programs currently being taught.

During the week before the start of classes, first-year students participate in Welcome Week, a first contact in which they are welcomed with a series of activities to meet new classmates, professors and educators, while becoming familiar with the classes, laboratories and other facilities on campus. This week also serves to present this year's motto: 'Time to care, time to create', which invites all members of La Salle Campus Barcelona to care for our common home from a perspective of integral ecology.

The new academic year presents new features both in terms of the training offered and the campus facilities. On the one hand, the new Bachelor in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science is being launched, a programme that comes at a time of technological revolution in which artificial intelligence is shaping the beginning of an era of profound changes. On the other hand, during the first quarter the Interactive Arts and Science Laboratory (IASlab) will be inaugurated, located in the Sant Joan Baptista de La Salle building, a reference space in the study of digital creativity, the interaction between man and machine and the audiovisual, multisensory and immersive sector.

The number of students, the training offered and the new facilities consolidate La Salle Campus Barcelona as a university centre of reference with an international profile, recognised for training people who add up, are committed, entrepreneurial and innovative, as evidenced by the international seal of Entrepreneurial University awarded by the ACEEU recently, which reinforces the Lasallian mission of training professionals with courage who work to develop a more just and sustainable society.
