The URL, among the most outstanding universities in Europe according to the U-Multirank

The ranking places Ramon Llull University 76th on the continent, 5th in Spain and 4th in Catalonia

The Universitat Ramon Llull (URL) is positioned as the 76th university in Europe by the U-Multirank, a university ranking promoted by the European Commission. In this way, and with respect to the previous edition, the URL improves its results and rises more than 20 positions. The Universitat Ramon Llull, of which La Salle-URL is one of its founding members, appears in 5th position in the whole of Spain and is 4th in the Catalan university system.

The U-Multirank analyzes in its present edition 1948 universities from 97 different countries, evaluating the activity of the centers from 40 indicators scored from A (very good) to E (weak) and divided into five dimensions:

  1. Teaching and learning
  2. Research
  3. Knowledge transfer
  4. International orientation
  5. Contribution to regional development

The URL obtains the highest score (A) in 13 of the indicators and a notable score (B) in nine indicators. U-Multirank highlights from the URL its contribution to regional development, where it obtains the best score in four of the six indicators. In this section are evaluated publications with regional companies, undergraduate programs and master's degree graduates working in the region, internships in local companies, the percentage of publications with institutions in the region and income from regional sources.

In the same way, the URL obtains very good results in the international orientation dimension, where six of the seven indicators obtain an A or B. U-Multirank highlights in this section the degree and master's programs in a foreign language, the number of students in mobility programs, number of international professors and doctorates, and international publications.
