Sónar+D 2026 invites us to reimagine our relationship with technology, fostering critical, constructive, and optimistic reflection on the future in a context where the gap between present and future is increasingly narrow. The program explores new intersections between art, science, and digital society, with a special focus on artificial intelligence, audiovisual experimentation, and new digital environments.

Within this framework, La Salle-URL strengthens its connection with the festival through the participation of its students from the Master of Science in Digital Arts and Creative Technologies, who will present innovative projects in the field of technology and applied creativity in the Project Area. Furthermore, The Glad Scientist, a digital artist and professor at La Salle-URL, is part of the Sónar+D program, along with the projects “SOFTLY SOUNDS MATTER” by Pol Olivares Ceniceros and “Recursive Lineage” by Sara Gallego.

On the other hand, between June 18 and 19, students participating in the AI Performance Playground will take over Àgora+D to present a collaborative performance, the result of three days of hacklab work between Llotja de Mar and the IASLab at La Salle-URL. This participation contributes to the festival's creative technology ecosystem and strengthens the connection between university, industry, and digital culture.
