On Thursday, 26 November, we will celebrate the Feast Day of Blessed Ramon Llull, patron saint of Universitat Ramon Llull, with a round-table discussion entitled “Humanism and the University in the Age of AI”, starting at 6.30 pm in the campus Sala de Graus. The event commemorates Ramon Llull Day, celebrated every year on 27 November, and is organised by the La Salle-URL Faculty of Philosophy to reflect on the legacy of one of the most important figures in Catalan culture and language.
The event will feature Josep M. Garrell, President of the European University Association (EUA); Juan José Brugera, former President of the Board of Trustees of Universitat Ramon Llull; Xavier Mendoza, professor and former Director General of ESADE-URL; and Salvador Pié, former President of the Blanquerna Foundation and Rector of the Basilica of Santa Maria del Mar. The discussion will be moderated by Carles Llinàs, Dean of the La Salle-URL Faculty of Philosophy.
The event is open to the entire Universitat Ramon Llull community. To attend, please register using this form.
