Teaching and research staff from La Salle Campus Barcelona, a founding member of the Universitat Ramon Llull, took part in the 6th Teaching Research and Innovation Day, a programme of presentations focused on research and innovation in the field of higher education teaching. The event was held in the Graduation Hall and brought together representatives from the campus’s four schools and faculties: the La Salle-URL Higher Technical School of Architecture (ETSALS), the La Salle-URL Digital Engineering School (ETSELS), the La Salle-URL International School of Commerce and Digital Economy (FICEDLS), and the La Salle-URL Faculty of Philosophy (FFLS).
During the session, faculty members shared real projects currently being developed in the classroom, educational innovation methodologies and best practices in applying research to teaching. As a result, the Teaching Research and Innovation Day is consolidated as a space for shared reflection that strengthens the campus’s position as a benchmark for transdisciplinary learning and academic excellence.
The aim of the event, now in its sixth edition, is to provide a community space where professors and researchers can share experiences on bringing research closer to undergraduate and postgraduate students. At the same time, the Teaching Research and Innovation Day offers faculty members the opportunity to learn about the projects their colleagues are working on.
The various contributions explored teaching methodologies, research tools applied to education, and the uses and applications of artificial intelligence in learning processes. In this context, the celebration of the 6th Teaching Research and Innovation Day reinforces La Salle-URL’s educational project, designed to place students at the centre, enhance their learning experience and adapt it to today’s social and global context.
